Due to the adverse weather conditions the Christmas Market that was due to be held at the ground by Penycae Community Council has sadly been cancelled. A huge shame for all the people who have worked so hard behind the scenes to try and make it happen.
This has just been posted on behalf of the council.
"Having worked tirelessly all day to save our first Christmas Market the Community Council has concluded for the purposes of Health and Safety the Market will not be held. As Chairperson I have the privilege of leading an extremely talented group of Councillors, however Mother Nature has other ideas on this occasion we will work to run an event early in the New Year. I should like to thank all the stall holders, Pen-Y-Cae Football Club and all participants for their dedication support and determination to provide an event which Unites our village with a common purpose the development of the MUGA."
