This morning the club were delighted to finally hold the grand opening of our latest ground project.
This building was originally used as our catering van for match days and after its relocation due to the extension on the clubhouse it was decided to try and turn it into a spectator/sponsor facility. Thankfully this has been achieved and the building will now be used for match sponsors but more importantly provide any spectators with disabilities or additional needs some comfort while watching our fixtures.
The building has been named in honour of club stalwart and Chairman "Stuart Griffiths" who has been a huge part of Penycae Football Club since it's inception in 1982.
The club would like to thank Councillor John Phillips for officially opening the building and also to members of Stuarts family and committee members who attended the event. Lastly the club would like to extend it's gratitude to everyone who helped in making this project a reality, we are forever grateful for all the help and hard work that's gone into it.
For anyone interested in sponsoring a match and making use of the suite, we will be promoting our sponsorship package tomorrow along with a list of fixtures which are available to sponsor.
