After three weeks off due to postponements and Christmas we return to League action at the Riverside this Saturday when we entertain Rhostyllen FC , kick off 2.00pm. The Karl Thomas memorial Hall will be open along with 'Bandos' offering Hot drinks and food. The match ball has kindly been sponsored by Karl Thomas. Manager Ian Andrews gave his thoughts ahead of the game, "After a few weeks off due to bad weather and Christmas we are looking forward to welcoming Rhostyllen to the riverside. We have trained in between Christmas and are looking forward to getting back on the pitch, we have got to start picking up points in the 2nd half of the season if we are to climb away from the bottom of the league, our performances have been good in most of our games, but we seem to have a 10 min spell when we switch off and get punished. We will look to get back to basics and try and grind out a result. Rhostyllen FC have had some good results of late and have climbed up the table so we will expect a tough game. Mike Parry will miss out due to suspension and James Triggs is injured, coming back into the squad are Josh Millington, Ian Williams, Shaun Pemberton and Adam Peters. I hope everyone had a good Christmas and are looking forward to coming back to watch Penycae at home again."
