A bumper crowd of over 300 spectators saw our very own Penycae Vets come out on top against Wrexham Legends with a 2-1 victory, in a highly entertaining game with goals from Kevin Edwards and Chris Piney.
The Club would like to thank both sets of players and the match officials on the day, Keith Otley and Jamie Monk.
Also a massive thank you to our wonderful Match Sponsor Craig Young of CYC Fitness who has once again shown the club his unwavering support and generosity, we greatly appreciate it!
A special mention to our youth players of both the under 8s and 12s for being mascots and ball boys on the day and of course to everyone who kindly donated prizes for the raffle and those who came along to spectate.
Lastly, but not certainly not the least to all of the volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the event was a success and a wonderful spectacle for our community.
