Our 2nd meeting against Llay was going to be a tough fixture with us drawing 1-1 a couple of weeks ago. The game started very brightly for us and we attacked Llay and were positive, but with Llay's 1st attack we found ourselves 1-0 down, a ball played over the top was not dealt with and even when

Josh Williams for 2-0. Not a great start and we were on the ropes, Llay continued to put us under pressure but then from nowhere we got a goal back, what should have been a simple back pass went straight to
Austin Owen and he fired low and hard into the bottom corner for 2-1. Now it was game on and the goal clearly lifted our confidence, but 10 mins later we gifted Llay another goal with poor defending, players not following there men allowed a Llay overload and they duly punished us for 3-1. Josh Millington at the far Post but he screwed his effort wide. HT 3-1. With us kicking down the 2nd half we applied pressure to Llay but could not get the breakthrough we needed to get back into the game, our passing and crossing in the final 3rd let us down badly. Llay continued to control the game without adding to the scoreline. Ft 3-1. Another game gone with us continuing to gift teams goals, we need to start making better decisions and work hard as a team to get better results. Llay were the better team on the day and I wish them good luck in the next round.
