We have new leaders in the Welsh National League Premier Division after Cefn Albion pummelled village rivals Penycae 5-0. The result left the hosts boss Ben Heath exasperated with him saying “we failed to make enough chances and when we did they were wasted and just could not get the ball in the net after creating 4 one on one situations.” Albion therefore have the local bragging rights with Alex Williams enabling his side to take a 10th minute lead and that is how the opening half finished. The second half witnessed a brilliant away performance to take the hosts apart. New signing Kyle Thomas tapped home to give the Albion a two goal cushion before the red hot Alex Williams smashed home the third after some good work from Danny Holland. At 3-0 down Penycae were on the canvass and further goals from Jimmy Jones and hat-trick hero Alex Williams completed a derby day nap hand.
