Last Saturday we entertained Cefn Albion at the riverside and despite a promising start where we created several chances and had big shout out for a penalty soon found ourselves behind when Ryan Kershaw scored an excellent goal from distance in the 17th minute. Further goals from Jordan Williams, Torne Lee Samuels and Alex Williams left the score 4-0 at half time.
Despite the scoreline the lads kept plugging away and got their reward when leading scorer Austin Owen pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in the 67th Minute. Five minutes later Gary Evans had a great chance to add another when he was put through on goal only for Josh Roberts to pull off a great save. Despite plenty of effort we failed to add to our goal and the game eventually finished 4-1.
