We picked up a well deserved point in an excellent game against Llanfair Utd. It was the visitors who started well and they were unlucky not to take the lead when Max McLaughlin struck a long range effort was brilliantly tipped over by Stuart Williams. We then took the lead in the 27th Minute through Harry Edwards following a goal mouth scramble off a corner. In the 39th minute Josh Astley headed in a Karl Seliaerts corner to make it 1-1.
Straight after the restart Ben Jones struck a brilliant shot from 25 yards into the top corner to put Llanfair 2-1 up. 5 minutes later we were awarded a penalty which Tom Edwards put away to make it 2-2. Max McLaughlin was unlucky not to put the visitors in front when he struck the post from a free kick. Then in the 79th minute Mike Parry broke down the wing and cut a great ball back for Gary Evans who finished superbly to put us 3-2 up. Unfortunately we couldn't hold on and deep into injury time Llanfair were awarded a free kick and Ben Jones levelled with a header to leave the final score 3-3.
