Last Saturday our first game under new manager Daniel Richards saw us pick up three points in a hard fought win against visitors Machynlleth. Not for the first time this season we made a good start only to concede when Callum Page capitalised on a mistake to give the visitors the lead in the 19th minute. Things got worse for us in the 35th minute when Austin Owen was harshly shown a second yellow resulting in him being sent off. Despite the set back the lads kept plugging away and in the 41st minute Josh Mazzarella was brought down in the box for a penalty, which Zac Davies took and scored to make it 1-1.
Despite the numerical advantage we continued to create chances and in the 71st minute substitute Jaden Jones gave us the lead with a fine strike. Unfortunately this did not last long and in the 74th minute Johan Auf Den Kamp scored for the vistors to make it 2-2. Then with time running out Jaden Jones put a great ball through for Josh Mazzarella to run on to and slot past the keeper to give us the 3-2 win and three excellent points.
