After picking up an excellent point against League Leader Chirk last week we made the trip to Welshpool in high spirits. The game was played in a very strong wind which unfortunately we had to defend against in the first half. As a result playing conditions were very difficult and the hosts made the most of them soon racing into a three goal lead with goals from Ryan Knott, Ryan Edwards and James Clewlow to give them a 3-0 lead at half time.

With the advantage of the wind second half we began to dominate and following a goal mouth scramble in the 53rd minute Adam Knott scored an own goal. Things got even better for us in the 72nd minute when Ben Jones headed in from a corner. With us now pushing for the equalizer we unfortunately got caught on the break and in the 77th minute Joshua Lenc scored to put the hosts 4-2 up and all three points.
