Our first team started the new campaign with a fixture against newly promoted Llangollen. The first half was a tight affair with very few chances created by either side but we did manage to take the lead in the 37th minute when Hari Gould headed in following a great cross from Sam Gostage.
The second half was a similar story to the first and just as it looked we would take all three points we conceded a penalty in the 96th minute when Drew Wickens was penalised for a push following a free kick into the box and Ben Wilson scored to make the final score 1-1.
