Sometimes things happen in games that make the result irrelevant, and seeing one of your players break his arm is one of them. So firstly we would like to wish Rubes a quick recovery and hoe he is back with us soon.

Today we were no where near our best, we started off keeping the ball well but had very little cohesion in our play which is unlike us. A few chances went begging as Tom Edwards, Ruben Monterio and Dan McGinnis seen chances go close. We fell behind to a corner on 24 minutes, which is the first set piece we have conceded this season.

Half time and 1-0 down against a Cefn Mawr team who had a point to prove after the 5-1 beating we gave them at home.

Second half and we came out the blocks flying and were level within the minute as Natty Davies and Harry Bowen linked up before Davies threaded Ruben Monterio down the line to put a inviting ball in which Morgan Daykin obliged with by heading home to open his account for the season after transferring from our u16's squad. Monterio was starting to take the game to Cefn now and on 60 minutes he danced around the full back to slip Tom Edwards in to slot home.

Ten minutes later and a cross come shot come clack somehow got caught by the wind to drop into the net completely against the run of play. Once Rubes sustained his injury on 72 minutes the game sort of slopped off. 

Not a vintage performance a point is a point, which I'm sure Cefn will be grateful for more than us.
