Penycae Football Club C.I.C.

After two weeks without a game our reserves returned to action with a difficult mid week trip to Buckley Town. We got off to the perfect start when after 5 minutes following a great run and cross from Ben Buley, Josh Mazzarella scored at the far post to put us up 1-0. Things got even better when Austin Owen scored twice in the 18th and 19th minute to put us 3-0 up. Then just before half time after some great work by Austin Owen, Ben Buley scored from distance to make it 4-0. The second half did not get off to the best starts when we conceded a goal in the 51st minute to make the score 4-1 and things got worse when Kyle Davies was shown a straight red for violent conduct. Despite being down to 10 men the players put in a great defensive display and ran out well worthy winners to claim another three points. Special mention for Dan Richards who kindly deputised in goal as we had no regular keeper.
