The reserves opened there home campaign with a tough fixture against title favourites TNS and for the second game running played without a regular goalkeeper with Kyle Davies stepping in to wear the jersey. As expected the visitors had lots of the ball without creating many clear cut chances and it was our reserves who took the lead in the 14th minute when Evan Woodhall was brought down for a penalty and up stepped Jaden Jones to score from the spot. TNS in the 34th minute were then awarded a penalty of there own and Rhys Edwards scored to make it 1-1.
The second half saw again the visitors have lots of the ball with our reserves looking dangerous on the counter attack. Man of the match Kyle Davies did pull of a couple on brilliant saves to keep the score level in the last fifteen minutes but a great team effort ensured the game finished 1-1 and gave us a well earned point.
