A disappointing afternoon for our Reserves as we fell to a 4–1 defeat against visitors Llay Welfare.
We made a positive start and took the lead in the 11th minute when Elliott Kavanagh calmly converted from the penalty spot, a lead we held onto going into the break.
However, the visitors turned the game on its head early in the second half with two quick goals inside five minutes from Thomas Wells and Harry Roberts. Further strikes from Jack Edwards and an injury-time goal by Perry Shoemark sealed a deserved victory and all three points for Llay Welfare.
