Our Reserves were knocked out of the League Cup yesterday after a 3-3 draw, eventually losing out on penalties.
Elliott Kavanagh put us 1-0 up early on, before the hosts hit back through Macken Phillips and Mathew Holmes to go 2-1 ahead. Josh Hughes levelled things, and right on the stroke of half time Ruben Monteiro scored to make it 3-2 to us going into the break.
In the second half, Holmes grabbed his second to make it 3-3, and with no further goals the game went to penalties, where the hosts edged the shootout.
